Event – News Community Media ‘Women in Media’ Golf Day

We had the pleasure of setting up a stall for New Community Media’s ‘Women in Media’ Golf Day on Tuesday, held at the stunning Royal Melbourne Golf Course. We came down with two Victorian wines, matched with two Victorian cheeses to create a match made in heaven on the 6th hole on the golf course.

Ladies completed 6 holes of golf and on the last hole, sat down to have a cheese and wine tasting with Milk The Cow. Of course, being the last round of golf AND offering cheese and wine, it almost goes without saying that it was a huge success.

Thank you to all the lovely ladies who attended the day and assisted in raising money for breast cancer awareness. Thank you to New Community Media for inviting us down to be apart of the day.

Review – Wine & Cheese Coterie

Thanks Wine & Cheese Coterie, glad you had fun down here with our friends cheese and booze!

“There is something magical about the words Licenced and Fromagerie and when you put the two together you know you are onto something special!  Milk the Cow opened a few months ago on St Kilda’s Fitzroy Street, right next to another tasty favourite, Golden Fields. One of the things I love about Milk the Cow is that you can taste cheeses you have never heard of before and wine you may never have had the chance to try. It is a fun… and always classy, way to spend the afternoon with friends. Good value, decent sized tasting portions, the necessary accompaniments and lots of fun, Milk the Cow is a local winner.”

Review – Visit Victoria, Pieces of Victoria

Need a reason to Visit Victoria? Milk the Cow has opened.

“House-made cheeses, rare international varieties and local farmhouse cheeses are playing the hero at a number of popular eating spots around Melbourne. Milk the Cow, a new, licensed fromagerie in Melbourne’s St Kilda precinct serves up 70 varieties of cheese with fine wines, beers and cocktails. Visitors can enjoy a cheese tasting flight with beer, wine or spirits, choose from a selection of cheese boards or go rogue and create their own. Those wishing to prolong the experience can opt to take a box of creamy artisan cheeses home.”
