Cheese High Tea (Carlton)

We are delighted to announce our new Cheese High Tea collaboration with a menu designed by internationally acclaimed pastry chef, Christy Tania from Glacé.

Australia's Queen of Dessert has put together a series of cheese-infused cake creations, each featuring an artisan cheese from the Milk the Cow cabinet. 

Our high tea events will begin with a guided Sparkling Wine and Cheese Flight, exploring three sparkling wines perfectly matched to three cheeses.

Our expert cheesemongers will talk you through flavour profiles, stories and cheese matching tips behind each pairing. 

Then come the cakes. And Christy has outdone herself with these creations.

A mini replica of a Granny Smith apple oozes with Gjetost, an olive cake has Cashel Blue baked right into it, blinis are accompanied by Brillat-Savarin triple cream and a Champagne Sorbet is made with Langres... it's high tea, but not as you know it. 
 

And of course, it wouldn't be proper without scones (in this case, made with Quicke's Oak Smoked Cheddar).

We finish with a cheese and tea match to cap off a perfect afternoon.  

Please note that due to the nature of high tea, we unfortunately cannot accommodate gluten free dietary requirements for this event.

Tickets $95 per person, includes a guided sparkling wine and cheese flight, high tea cakes selection with sandwich and scones and a tea and cheese match to finish.
