At Milk the Cow Licensed Fromagerie, we are all about cheese. Each of our venues offers up to 180 cheeses cut to order from a 6-metre cheese cabinet. Choose your favourites or let our expert cheesemongers recommend what is ripe and ready based on your personal tastes. 

Our ever-changing selection of signature cheese flights is a perfect way to discover what we do best at Milk the Cow - matching cheese to boutique beverages like wines, beers, whisky and more. 

We have a selection of gooey hot cheese dishes and some non-cheese selections too.

Cheese & Boutique Beverage Flights

We custom designed our flight boards especially to be able to offer our customers the perfect cheese and beverage matching experience, night after night. We pair three or four cheeses with wines, beer, cider, saké and whisky and let each match sing. Our cheesemongers will talk you through every pairing. These flights change monthly to give you an ever-rotating selection of things to try from our cabinet.

Individual fondue pots

Gooey, delicious artisan cheese fondues served in our individual fondue pots and accompanied by crusty bread. Available all weekend and after 5pm weekdays.

KAAS MIT WEIN ZU KOCHEN $17

Translation: ‘To cook cheese with wine.’ This was apparently fondue’s original name when created in Zurich in the 1600’s. Our take on the classic fondue, it features Swiss Gruyere, Appenzeller, Comte & Emmenthal.

FIGUGEGL $19

Figugegl, an abbreviation for ‘Fondue isch guet und git e guetiluune’ meaning ‘Fondue is good and creates a good mood.’ Features Herve Mons Cantal, Barbers Cheddar & Emmenthal, cooked with beer.

THE GRUNDLEGEND $33

Grundlegend is alpine slang for ‘the ultimate. Fitting, as this is the ultimate fondue. ’Il Forteto Cacio di Bosca Tartufo Stagionato, Swiss Appenzeller & Gruyere L Etivaz. Cooked with Remy Martin VSOP, Madame Coco Blanc de Blancs Brut & truffle honey. Accompanied with a ramekin of Stanton & Killeen Rutherglen topaque.

Marmites (Hot pot)

Classic cooked cheese dish favourites with a signature Milk the Cow twist. Available all weekend and after 5pm on weekdays.

BAKED CAMEMBERT $17

Camembert reaches new heights when cooked with a combination of garlic, fresh herbs and a splash of white wine. Served with crusty baguette.

DE LASANIS $19

The classic mac’n’cheese is reborn using Gruyere Vieux and Marcel Petit Comte cheeses, Perigold truffle oil and Courvoisier VS cognac.

BAKED BRIE $21

Yarra Valley Yering bathed in French cider, baked in truffle honey, glace figs, flaked almonds, walnut and cardamom pistachio dusting.

FLAMING SAGANAKI $15

Created by Cypriot shepherds and served as it was in the 1960s Greektown, Chicago. Pan fried in Milk the Cow olive oil and lemon juice, soaked in Grand Marnier Liqueur to serve.

All our cheese can be boxed to go in one of our gorgeous cheeseboxes, complete with a branded, disposable wooden cheeseboard inside. Perfect for dinner parties or picnics.
